"Boxing is NOT a sport ANYONE should do professionally. But it is a sport EVERYONE can and should do RECREATIONALLY!"
Coach Ray Bettinelli

Click HereEstablished in 2004, BCBA is a nonprofit organization (Community Boxing Center Inc.) devoted to doing good works in the community in which we operate.

We have been challenged every step of the way by insensitive zoning boards and intolerant neighbors. Yet through it all BCBA stayed true to its convictions and beliefs. On our own we converted a vacant warehouse into a safe, clean and secure facility where young people can come and learn the importance building positive self esteem and becoming self reliant.

Though its been a battle trying to gain support from local leaders, BCBA is committed to working in partnership with our community in a courteous and respectful manner and in harmony with the lives, property and quality of life of others.

BCBA is a private center / youth gym. Our boxing, Judo and Self Defense programs are intended to add structure, discipline and positive self-esteem to all who participate in them.

BCBA has a supervised computer/desk area on the premises to provide students with a place to study or do their homework. At BCBA our kids hit their books before they hit our bags!

As we grow and our fund raising efforts bare fruit, BCBA plans to offer our D.R.I.F.T. Program Graduates after school tutoring including Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED) assistance.

As part of our commitment to serving our community, BCBA makes its space available to fellow community leaders and their outreach programs provided their programs are designed to educate, motivate or inspire.

If you would like to learn more about utilizing our facility for your program please contact us.

Please drop in anytime to see first hand what can be accomplished when a community embraces a good cause.

"Being a man or a woman is a matter of birth. Being a man or a woman who makes a difference is a matter of choice."
Byron Garrett

Our mission at BCBA is simple; serve our community with a facility that is safe, clean and provides a positive environment where young people can come and feel a sense of belonging.

We will offer well-rounded programs designed to help young people meet the challenges that lie ahead in their lives so they won't feel the need to turn to crime, drugs or gang involvement.

We will become known as a full-fledged community center where people can train to stay in shape and benefit from programs designed to educate, motivate and inspire!

Our challenge is to convince local residents, zoning boards, community leaders, business owners and politicians the importance of having a center like BCBA in their community.

Their challenge will be to step up, lend their time and/or financial support so BCBA can grow and continue to do good works in our community.

Our vision for BCBA is that it becomes a beacon, a light that will lead others to see the benefit of having a center like BCBA in their own community. We want BCBA to become a model that will encourage others to help us grow and create additional centers, one community at a time.

"We have no government armed in power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."
John Adams
